Hey guys check these new tips that I want you to learn. I know lots of you wanted to reduce the file size of a picture with a minimal image reduction, right? Well, this is more important especially with those webpage that cater only minimal web storage. So, here is the instruction:
INSTRUCTION:
for any pics that are 1mb onwards, try these steps
1. edit it at paint
2. press ctrl w for stretch menu
3. stretch for 99 % on its horizontal and vertical size
4. save it
You will notice a sharp reduction in file size (for example, a 5mb image resized this way would result in 800+ kb image)
i have tried it on various large images and the results are the same as above
Purpose,
* for those who want to upload large images to photobucket but are unable to do so because of the size limit
* for people who want to maximize their hard drives memories
* lesser download time
