New ROG OC Station from ASUS

New ROG OC Station from ASUSASUS Taiwanese manufacturer officially launched their new ROG OC Station after having made a surprise appearance on the Internet a week ago. This is designed as a hardware controller that will help computer enthusiasts further tweak the specifications of their desktop computer system. This is also bound to end up in some of the upcoming high-end gaming rigs. Fans of the company and other computer enthusiasts will likely adopt the new controller for their own, home-built desktop machines.

It is now part of ASUS’ growing line of ROG gaming products, the new designed to allow computer users to access system voltages and frequencies without them being required to enter the system’s BIOS. In addition, the new OC Station can work with the iROG controller on some of its ROG motherboards, consequently enabling them to take advantage of some of the unique features of the aforementioned class of motherboards, such as CPU Level UP and ASUS EPU-6 Engine. Other particular features include the integrated 3-inch display that allows users to read important statistics of the computer system. This faceplate of the device can be tilted upwards at about 30 degrees, thus enabling a better viewing angle for all desktop computer systems. The device itself can be mounted in two 5.25-inch bays and even has a photo slide show feature.

Sadly, the company hasn’t released any specific details on the pricing and availability of its new ROG OC Station, but there’s a high chance you will be seeing it in systems and on store shelves in the near future. There’s also a good possibility that ASUS will make the station part of an upcoming bundle with a high-end motherboard.

I really want this, even though I would still probably make my changes in the BIOS. Using this seems like cheating, but I still want it for the other things it does.
