New Kingston DataTraveler 410 USB Drive

One of the world’s leading vendors of flash-based storage solutions, Kingston has recently announced the expansion of its DataTraveler family of USB Flash drives with the introduction of a new, higher-performance model, the DataTraveler 410. The new drive is expected to provide consumers with capacities of up to 32GB, while the read and write specifications include speeds of up to 20MB/s.

In addition, the new drive also includes a password protection security feature, which enables customers to protect their files and keep data secure, while stored on the flash drive. Designed to provide consumers with a choice for a 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB USB Flash drive, the new DataTraveler 410 achieves read and write speeds of up to 20MB/s. This will allow users to store and back up files faster, in a more affordable package.

According to the vendor, the price will be starting US$26 for the 4GB version of Kingston’s DataTraveler 410 drive, the new portable storage solution can prove an affordable way to back up and store personal data and digital content. The DataTraveler 410 series also offers a choice for a 32GB capacity, which is available for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price tag of US$134.
