For sure many of us have been collecting movies even before. Well, I am one of those people too. I just love movies and nothing can stop me from buying DVD’s to add to my collections. But, my movie love isn’t confine to the new ones as I am also fascinated watching the old and forgotten movies. If only I can find one.
There are times when I get to dig into the files of my grandparents or old relatives, I find 8mm films. Of course, the only way to watch them is to transfer the 8mm film to DVD. None of my latest device is capable of running an 8mm film. I have no choice, but to send them to the experts and just wait for a while. It is only after receiving the DVD where I get to enjoy the movies.
The purpose of transferring the contents of the 8mm film to DVD is not merely to entertain me. It is also a good way to preserve the recordings in good shape, which can be use in the future. Other than that I can share those movies to some of my friends who are also movie fanatics. The transfer is not only limited to movies alone, memorabilia from weddings, birthdays and so much more can also be transformed to DVD for a more convenient retrieving of files.
Well, we are just lucky we have technology that can move old file to a new place that is more up-to-date. Plus, it can also enhance those files to make it look as if it was just recorded yesterday. I can’t thank much of those brilliant minds for making everything possible. Who would have thought it is possible, without them.
I just wonder what our technology will offer us in the future. I hope I am still alive when something drastic will happen. If not, I am still happy I live in a world of laptops and computers.
