I never imagined Bangkok to rise up against their government like what the news are reporting. I mean it took like forever for their previous leaders to build a prosperous city or community with good number of infrastructure. It is true that some people need to fight for what they believed. But, is it at the expense of their buildings and community? If I am not mistaken the city is really in chaos with fires here and there, gun fires, damaged buildings and roads and injured people. For sure there is a more civilize way to be heard without the need for rage.
It is not that long when wiffy and I planned to visit the country to shop. Other than Hongkong we know Bangkok has lots of shopping malls. We can also find lots of products at an affordable price. However, everything changes when we heard of the riot. We joke around that we will just use Face Shields like the Thai armed forces. It will protect our head and face from flying and falling debris from two different sides; government and the rioters. Even so, we might find ourselves in the middle of war if we pursue and shopping wouldn’t be possible.
Well, we might not be able to shop in Bangkok for now, we are still thankful we have the web where we can do online shopping. We can still find lots of different products at an affordable price. It is still the same minus the time spent on travel.
